Community Dental Access Centre

The Community Dental Access Centre is the vision of the Vernon Dental Access Steering Committee of the First Nations Friendship Centre. The Center will be located downtown Vernon and will provide full spectrum dental and hygiene services to low-income, marginalized populations in the North Okanagan. Programs will include the full scope of preventative and restorative care, gum care and Denture Care. The Centre will also offer the Small Smiles Program (free first dental check-up for children between ages of 12 and 24 months), Kidz Cavity Prevention Club, and Tobacco Cessation.

The Centre will offer affordable payment options that will be based on income or client dental plans. Emergency treatment will be provided free of charge for those in pain and/or with dental infection and no means to pay for care.
